Rust / Case opening

Rust case opening sites

An opening selects a result from the site's case contents. The case price is the cost of one draw; the most expensive item in the preview is only one possible result. To assess the case, read every item's probability and the values attached to the results rather than focusing on the headline prize.

A third-party case uses that website's own contents and settlement system. It is separate from opening an official game container in Steam. The result can be represented as a skin, site balance or an item claim, and the conversion and withdrawal rules decide how it leaves the website.

An animation shows the result but does not describe the whole probability distribution. Use the site's round history or fairness record to identify an opening, and compare the resulting item with its trade availability before assuming it can be withdrawn immediately. Free or referral cases can have their own contents and unlocking conditions.

A hypothetical $2 case with a 1% chance of a $50 item does not give a $50 reward with each opening. The remaining 99% of outcomes are essential to understanding the case.
